Complete Controls Reference
Mastering the controls in Push a Lucky Block is the first step toward efficient progression. This Roblox simulator by Broken Wand Studios uses intuitive inputs across PC, mobile, and console, but knowing every button and interaction saves time during intense pushing sessions and Push Power training. This guide covers all confirmed controls and platform differences.
If you are brand new to the game, pair this page with our how to play guide for context on when and why each control matters. Understanding the difference between pushing, training, and hatching actions prevents the common mistake of wasting Protein Shakes on the wrong activity.
PC Controls (Keyboard and Mouse)
PC is the most popular platform for Push a Lucky Block and offers the most precise movement for pushing Lucky Blocks through tight map sections. Use WASD or arrow keys to move your character. The camera is controlled with the right mouse button held down while moving the mouse. Left-click interacts with objects, and holding left-click on a Lucky Block initiates the push action.
The E key serves as an alternate interaction button at gym stations, shop NPCs, and hatch zones. Press Escape or click the menu icon to open settings, inventory, and the codes redemption panel. Number keys or clicking in the hotbar equip Weights, consume Protein Shakes, and swap between tools. Spacebar jumps, which helps navigate elevation changes between map zones covered in our map zones guide.
Mobile Controls (Touch)
Mobile players use a virtual joystick on the left side of the screen for movement and swipe gestures for camera rotation. When you approach a Lucky Block, a large push button appears on the right side of the screen. Tap and hold it to push, just like holding left-click on PC. Training stations show a similar hold-to-train prompt.
The menu button, usually in the top corner, opens settings, codes, and inventory. Tap items in your hotbar to equip Weights or drink Protein Shakes. Mobile controls work well for casual code redemption and short sessions, but pushing high-tier blocks that require precise angle adjustments can be harder than on PC. Many competitive players prefer PC for endgame pushing and Rebirth grinding.
Console Controls (Xbox and Gamepad)
Console players navigate with the left stick and control the camera with the right stick. The A button interacts with objects and initiates pushing when facing a Lucky Block. Hold A to maintain push pressure on a block. The B button cancels interactions or closes menus. Shoulder buttons and the D-pad cycle through hotbar items for Weights and consumables.
Opening the menu requires pressing the Start or Menu button on your controller, then navigating to Codes, Inventory, or Settings with the D-pad. Code entry uses the on-screen keyboard. Console play is fully supported but menu navigation is slower than PC, making batch code redemption from our active codes list slightly more tedious.
Core Gameplay Actions
Every major activity in Push a Lucky Block maps to a small set of repeated interactions. Pushing requires holding the interact button while facing a Lucky Block. Your character applies force continuously based on your Push Power stat plus bonuses from Brainrots, Weights, and Auras. Release the button to stop pushing and reposition.
Training happens at gym stations. Hold the interact button at a station to gain Push Power over time. Training speed scales with equipped Weights and active Protein Shake buffs. Hatching occurs automatically when a Lucky Block reaches its destination or breaks open. Press interact at hatch points to claim your new Brainrot. Rebirth is initiated through the Rebirth menu, accessible from the main progression panel.
Menu and UI Navigation
The main menu provides access to every non-gameplay system. Key sections include Inventory for managing Brainrots, Weights, and Auras; Codes for redeeming promo strings like update3 and buff; Shop for purchasing upgrades; Rebirth for resetting with permanent multipliers; and Settings for audio and graphics options. On PC, click each tab directly. On mobile and console, tap or select with the D-pad.
The hotbar at the bottom of the screen holds quick-access slots for your most-used items. Drag Brainrots to equip slots for their passive bonuses. Assign Protein Shakes to a slot for one-tap consumption during pushing attempts. For detailed equipment strategy, see our Brainrots guide and Weights guide.
Advanced Control Tips
Experienced players use several control techniques to push more efficiently. Angle pushing involves adjusting your camera and character position before holding push, ensuring force applies in the optimal direction toward the block destination. Slight misalignment can waste Push Power on friction against walls or obstacles.
Shake timing means drinking a Protein Shake immediately before initiating a push on a block at your limit. The temporary Push Power boost applies to the entire hold duration if consumed right as you start pushing. Train-push cycling alternates between short training sessions and push attempts without returning to base, saving travel time across zones.
During the Wave event, quick menu access matters for swapping Brainrot loadouts between phases. Practice opening inventory, swapping pets, and returning to pushing within seconds. Our Wave guide covers optimal loadout swaps that depend on fast control execution.
Controls and Progression Connection
Controls do not change as you progress, but how you use them evolves. Early game focuses on simple train-and-push loops. Mid-game introduces shake timing and Weight swapping between training and pushing setups. Late game and post-Rebirth play emphasizes efficient zone traversal and batch hatching across multiple Lucky Block tiers simultaneously.
Follow the full walkthrough to see these control patterns applied at each progression milestone. Redeem codes from our redemption guide to boost early Push Power, then use the controls above to convert those stats into Brainrot collection and zone advancement. Smooth control execution is the foundation every top player builds on.
